A beginning without end

Iraqi invasion took place in 2003 by the U.S. military, and marked the beginning of the Iraqi war

The causes of this outbreak were varied. Publicity stated that they did about weapons of mass destruction that existed, aside from wanting to fight against a society oppressed by their leader, Saldan Hussein, not to control oil reserves.

This invasion was carried out with support from Austria, Poland and Denmark, and marked a split between the great powers, which were against the invasion, as were France, Belgium, Germany, Russia, and China. In addition, the company also came out against this conflict by global events. To carry out all these problems occurred in 2003, "the summit of the Azores"

Some months after the start of the invasion, George W. Bush, U.S. president, he named Iraq as the "axis of evil" and accused Saldan Hussein of having weapons of mass destruction, and of having links with Al Qaeda, although he couldn’t confirm.

Although it carried out resolution 1941, Iraq and give different options to stop violating its obligations, the United States brought the use of force if the ruling precluded the use of it.

In spite of worldwide protests on the need for a second UN resolution that would give legal status to this movement, the bombing of Baghdad, caused shock and rapid movement on land from the Persian Gulf, showed the coalition forces achieved quick victories with signs of support from the local population. After a difficult conflict for both the coalition and for the people of Iraq, May 1, George W. Bush decides to end the first military operations, with the death of between 4000 and 6000 Iraqis. The first step of the coalition forces was the reorganization of the army and Iraqi police, however, so far not been able to solve civil security.

The result was a war that plunged into poverty by the Iraqi people. The economic cost was higher than they thought by local resistance and the actions of insurgent groups, and chemical weapons were never found.
