An attack that affected the whole world
On September 11 sealed a new paragraph in the life and history of the United States
The disaster began when two hijacked airliners were to be impacted in New York. These suicide bombings carried out by members of the vihadista Al Qaeda network, were designed to destroy the Twin Towers and the Pentagon.
For them, the terrorist hijackers of American Airlines flights 11 and 175, United Airlines, and both were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Centre. The first plane struck the south tower at 9.59 am, and the second plane into the North to 10.28 of the morning, causing them collapsed. The third hijacked plane was 77 of American Airlines, and was his against the walls of the Pentagon. Finally, the fourth plane, United Airlines Flight 93, didn't achieve any objective, as it crashed in an open field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
After research conducted in the United States, decided that those responsible for this slaughter were 19 Arab men divided into four planes. Of the attackers, 15 were from Saudi Arabia, two were from the UAE; one was from Egypt and one from Lebanon and killed nearly 3000 people, including 246 killed in four aircraft crashed. 2.602 deaths in New York in the Twin Towers, and 125 died within the Pentagon builing.
At first both al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden denied involvement in the attacks, but after describing some recordings where Bin Laden was responsible, that before the U.S. election of 2004 publicly acknowledged the responsibility of Al-Qaeda in the attacks, and admitted his involvement in them. Furthermore, claimed to have led to all 19 terrorist.
Moreover, these attacks were not the only, because a week later, terrorist attacks were carried out using Anthrax (bacteria lethal) in order to harm journalists, politicians and employees of New York, New Jersey, Washington DC and Florida.
Many of the reasons were the alleged military support to Israel or U.S. military occupation of the Arabian Peninsula in the U.S. Still this alone would precede the Afghanistan war and the adoption by the U.S. government and political allies of the socalled on terrorism
